Mr. Danish Iqbal is a pioneer in Pakistan’s renewable energy sector, leading Gul Ahmed Energy Group and Metro Power Companies as Chairman. A graduate of the American University of Sharjah, UAE, with a BSc in Business Administration (Management & Marketing), he began his career as Director at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills.
With over two decades of experience, Mr. Iqbal has spearheaded four landmark wind energy projects totaling 210 MW and established the Pakistan Wind Energy Association, uniting the sector under a national framework. His visionary leadership continues to drive innovation and sustainability, propelling Pakistan towards a greener, energy-secure future.
